Fuelling the Legal System Must STOP!!!

If fathers and men networked properly, every man and son would know not to waste NOT one penny on family lawyers, psychologists and their reports, court applications, appeals and on any individual, professional or organisation that made a profit of family breakdown.

Until we stop fuelling the Family Breakdown and Legal industry with our Money, Fears, Time and Energy, the monster machine will not starve and crumble, like it needs to. It only makes sense, yet most of us fail to realise this fundamental point for one reason or another.

Yes I agree too, stop throwing money away at defending, justifying, fighting for your children, assets etc through lawyers and courts. Firstly, you have to acknowledge your situation quickly (ie. go into damage control), get good advice from people who have been there (groups, forums, wherever, however), but not let fear, immaturity and your emotions place you in the hands of lawyers and then courts.

Lets face it, most lawyers want your money, it's not their fault - it's their income and livelihood, and we all might possibly do the same if we were in there shoes. You must understand they can ascertain in only a few short minutes, how emotionally vulnerable and financially viable you are, and how well they can control you as a client, in order to legally suck you dry; getting as much money as possible, while they may learn and have some fun along the way, and the chance at winning, and thrill of power games, personality conflicts, and whatever other kicks and payoffs they may get, and this is all at yours and your children's emotional, psychological and financial expense, short and long term.

There are some moral and decent lawyers of course, (pretty hard to find i might add) but many are predecessors to politicians, who learn the art of deception, especially in areas of family law. It is often a gambling game where you will never win. As soon as you start having a lawyer act for you and control you you are stuffed!!

By entering the fight, you lose control, further polarise your wife from talking and communicating with you, (possibly forever, depending on how long and bad it gets), and this is what lawyers want and promote under some bullshit guise of what's right or legal etc. WRONG!! You are essentially pouring gasoline on a burning fire, and boy oh boy can these fires get big. Especially, if your wife has mental, psychological problems, unhinged supporters and/or has engaged a "man-hating" lawyer/s to work for her.

As said before contact people who know the system and have wisdom..and get as many friends and people around you as possible, venting your grief and frustrations to people who care and are safe.

Don't get mad... don't react foolishly, get smart... reach out to people, who will only be too willing to help you and build up your knowledge base, so you can make good solid, clear minded decisions.

You, your children, their grandparents and believe it or not your wife(EX) are depending on you to be responsible.

Yes life is paradoxical... and you are a good father and god is on your side.

You can use a lawyer at the very end to address legalities, way down the track after you both have cooled down, worked through the issues with children, assets, child support etc.

Remember, children's needs are dynamic - don't fall into the mistake of giving up this freedom by first going to a lawyer. Lawyers can be useful fro many other legal issues, however in Family Law where many make a bucket load of cash, they usually do more harm to families than good - with the way family law is presently set up.

I am new to this F4J Australia Board as of today.

Once "in" the legal system, through the wife's lawyers setting it all up, WHAT WAYS are being proposed for acting outside the system and getting justice?

I need to understand this badly.

I am prepared to do almost ANYTHING to get help for dads like me (and for myself).

In particular, how can a dad publicise the bad stuff done by the System without getting jailed for breaking the law?

I'd love someone to explain this to me.

Does f4joz have any legal advisors?
Should a dad organise a protest himself?
Does f4joz have a committe that plans spectacular events?
Are there other Dads (in Sydney in my case) willing to do stuff with me that gets media attention?

F4Joz is a community of dads scattered all over the place, like im in Melb. F4J was inactive for awhile as things had changed a bit after the new reform, 2004 - 2007 as things took time to change, however reports have been coming out things arent so crash hot under the reign of Bryant, but more evidence in this forum is desperately needed for all to see.

Don't be fearful of section 121 or wotever it was. That was only for names of the parties in the case. Post ur concerns. Ask and ye shall receive as the good bible says.

So F4J reformed and thanks to a brilliant effort from the website development team have rebuilt site over last month or so, and are still developing, so people can keep connected, alive, and state all the problems they are experiencing.

A fix hasn't been implemented but it will happen, it has too -- not just for the good of fathers but for children, families and including women (they just don't know it yet).

1 - As far as legal advisors, there are a many, simply post up ur questions.

2 - Any protesting and publicity is good publicity, whether it be from 1 man, 5 or 5000. The issues have to be clear, simple and emotive for the public to be awakened to the crimes that are still happening.

3 - No formal committee as such, just a collective force from all. Building small local groups is the way to start, and building from there. Getting media attention, photos to post up is all good.

4 - There will be thousands of dads in Sydney who will be in a big protest when we get to that stage depending on how they are being affected. In the meantime, i think everyone should state their locality in their profile, so you can private message (pm) people in your area. I better check mine come to think of it.

In Australia its not hard to work out that well over a million fathers and people have been affected by draconian family laws over the past 33 years. The question is will it be the women who band together first and protest big and loud, or will it be the guys!

FEAR and DOUBT is what all this mess is about.. One step at a time, and all will be good
