Many fathers who go through a divorce or separation experience tough times in a variety of ways, I know I have. Every father will have many stories to tell, a tragedy or two, countless losses from loved ones to materialism and self identity.

Many embark on a path of human suffering lasting years and decades of slow torture from the many wounds residing deep in our soul. Many of us experience the loss and grief cycles in all its many forms as we deal with the confusion, emotions and the arrival of almost every conceivable problem that surely wasn't there before the separation, or was it?

Everything can seem to just not be fair or make any sense, plus we often think it's all just happening to us, and us alone. When or can I make this obscene madness stop you ask yourself a thousand times, followed by can I hold on and endure, perhaps grow from the experience or is it just too much to bear and pulling the pin is the best way?

Well, don't give up my fuzzy friend as it maybe time to let go and let god. When we as humans finally realise that we alone can't make life fully work, we have to consider more about letting the love of god into our life. A divine love of god in fact.

Not through some religious beliefs or indoctrination, for that is only a tiny peep hole by comparison. It maybe time for a whole new way of seeing life, love and god through another set of eyes.

If the timing is right for you read an enlightening book by Padma Aon below. It's one of those great books where in the end you will say I knew this deep deep down all along but thank you for reminding me.

Hopefully it just may help bring all the threads of your life together, not only understanding where you've been, but where you are going.
