A Corio man who has repeatedly used medical certificates to try and have his case delayed has been told to bring his doctor to court.

The man is charged with refusing to have a breath test and driving an unregistered vehicle.

He also faces more than $7,600 in unpaid fines.

The man has been warned to start paying off his fines or risk going to jail, according to reports in today's Geelong Advertiser.

The criminal matters have been set down for a contested hearing next week.
