Guys, do we need a Minister for Men in Australia?

Yes, I know many politicians are useless but what can you do. We do need someone to hopefully provide some common sense on a high level political front, because seriously, the whole country is going to rack and ruin.

God bless our sons - our younger generations of men. If the country keeps going the way it is, the word Father will cease to exist, let alone be remembered as anything of value. Men will be here as a privilege to a woman's whim, not a rightful purpose in the eyes of God.

However, the fact remains that in Australia we have a Minister for the Status of Women, yet no Minister for the Status of Men!

In the UK a letter and petition sent to the UK government can be found here.
https://minmen.epetitions.net

A Minister for Men was declined notwithstanding they have a Minister for Women and a Minister for Children - unbelievable. And it is the the women who still cry out for equality.

Hey, btw this a not a bagging of women, there are pretty special and beautiful women out there, and my mum is one of them! She is a bloody good person. Not like some of the clap trap mothers around the globe I'm afraid to say, but hey it's not always their fault - possibly they lacked the right fathering and parenting I suspect. We reap what we sow!

And hey, there are some men who are pretty bloody useless human beings too, so it is not really a gender issue, is it.

No, of course, it isn't!

So why isn't there a Minister for Men in Australia?

Maybe we will have to go around wearing nickers and dresses before someone takes this issue seriously. Who's up for that?

Men — do you feel like you're losing something?

Well, time to wake up and have you say, else it will be a bright new someone elses day...

    Gents,
you have everything you need except the will to use it. I am still waiting for fathers to step up to the crease.

I have good reasons for my support of this petition, but it is too late for me. I lost my kids forever, and then got no support in having a scamming woman on a spouse visa deported. I have no faith in Australian justice systems, so I live elsewhere now as I refuse to pay any more tax to support a system that cheated me at every point

Yes we do need a minister for men as the laws put in place to prevent violence in the home work against sole fathers but what is totally gender bias and needs to be change is the minister for women is also the minister for women D.o.C.S.... ever wondered why their documentation reads that "men are incapable of supplying any form of emotional stimulation other than that of violence" etc... etc

Well, spread the idea among other men. Last I heard we still live in a democracy. If they wont listen to reason we have the right to protest. And if they say we don't then they prove we no longer live in a democratic country. Alone we are each ignored. If we work together they can't ignore us.

I'm all for a total tax (and all other revenue) boycott by Australian men until we get justice. I think we should go even more and refuse to perform any trade or profession work for all governments (excepting emergency services). It's called industrial action. After all don't worker's have an enshrined right to withdraw their labour when they aren't getting a fair go and the employer fails to negotiate a fair outcome?

Any men prepared to stand up and end this farce?

Yeah, spot on... but I think unfortunately that any decision to participate in their system is a decision to lose.

Every fact in my custody case was on my side - even the ex-wife's "expert" witlesses, and yet after 4 years I have still not seen my kids.

I think more valuable than a new addition to a system that has demonstrably already collapsed would be some form of general strike by way of a refusal to participate in any way.

Historically this type of approach is the only one which has forced "democracies" to sit up and pay attention. No worker ants = no incomes = no tax = holy shit!
