Thought I would share a process that I have been working on with myself which maybe helpful to others who have experienced some shock and trauma in their life. It's been very hard for me and still is. This latest round of trauma has taken me over 3 years to make yet a further attempt at some form of resolution, so I thought I had to get back to basics, logic and small steps. So play with the concept, change it and make it your own.
I have been unsuccessful in finding good help and support in our so called health industry leading me to the conclusion we MUST fix ourselves. I am not a professional in any medical or mind field, just an average Joe, so take it as it is. It may not be perfect but I do truly hope it helps you in some way to move forward.
Can't see the forest for the trees, unable to advance with clarity and unsure of what's wrong, let alone feeling like you're in a position to fix the problem?
Well, a thing called emotional obfuscation maybe the issue, or part thereof, which can cause indecision and poor decision making, among other things.
Indecision of the mind can be a frustrating and stressful experience, especially when multiple trauma has occurred. I personally have had trauma back to childhood. Symptoms are many including worry, idling, being aimless and low self esteem all giving rise to a state of depression.
As debilitating as the issues are existing purely in our mind, it's not fruitful to blame others, hence we must conquer this demon on our own. Yes, scary.
One way to solve the unresolved problems in your life, or in your mind, is by pretending in your head, not in material reality, that the new condition now exists.
Simply, by running this process with each hurdle, which allows us to also confront our fears, we are then freed to move forward on to the next hurdle.
The process runs something like this:
Syntax: If this condition exists do this or if that condition exists do that. But we feel along the way, as if logic is the driver and feelings are the passenger. One cannot co-exist without the other.
If after I did this, and then this happened, how do I now feel? or
If I had this, or this was done, how do I feel and what are the options available to me.
Detach yourself by watching your thoughts and feelings objectively employing a form of logic. Yes and No, On or Off, 1's or 0's or this or that. Yes, the duality of our existence which surrounds us.
Good luck!
