A man who rammed a police car twice and pinned two officers to a fence in Melbourne's outer-east has been arrested.
Police pulled over a Commodore with a flat tyre on Plantation Avenue in Frankston about 7:45pm on Sunday.
Officers said the driver got out of the vehicle and became aggressive, so capsicum spray was used on him.
He then ran back to his car and started to drive off.
As the police officers returned to their car, the Commodore did a U-turn, drove at them and rammed the police vehicle.
The officers jumped out of the car but became pinned between their vehicle and a fence, before the car was hit again.
A 51-year-old Frankston man was arrested a short time later with the help of the dog squad and is being questioned.
The officers received minor injuries in the incident, while the driver of the car was taken to hospital under police guard.
