HAVE YOU EVER BEEN HARASSED BY A CORPORATE GOON?
PARKING FINES? LITTER FINES? NO TRAVEL TICKET FINES? OR THE NEW ONES... HOMELESS FINES?
During times of extreme austerity, councils are allowing private companies to masquerade as authoritative organisations and charge you silly amounts of money for dropping litter. £80 for a cigarette butt, when you can easily just put it in the bin, is silly. Even when these people pounce on you, you can simply pick it up and walk off.
These £80 fines seem to be commonplace along with 'parking fines' that tend to be one of the most profitable incomes for these private companies and councils. Apparently, two thirds of the fine is taken for the private company.
DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE PEOPLE, YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!
*** THIS IS WHAT THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW!!! ***
We understand that councils are seeing huge cuts from county councils and central government, due to the welfare reform.
But targeting and profiting from the general public using the town/cities facilities, that are already being affected is morally wrong. AND IT MUST STOP! These people are the local economy and these fines create problems. We've seen entire towns economies diminished because councils and private companies are enforcing fines for litter and parking. It's seen as 'easy revenue'.
We're even seeing councils even implementing 'initiatives' to criminalise the homeless!!! Charging them, simply for being homeless!!! Leeds council has setup a yellow & red card scheme, where homeless people are given two opportunities to leave the city centre... If they're given a red card, that's followed with a dispersal order and a criminal charge... Some councils fine the homeless and when they can't pay, imprison them in privatised prisons. This is inhumane.
What these councils need to realise is this...
THEY WORK FOR US!!!!!
AND THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
MAYBE WE SHOULD SETUP A FINE SYSTEM FOR WHEN THE COUNCIL MAKE MISTAKES? IF THEY WERE CHARGED £80 FOR EVERY MISTAKE, THEY'D BE BANKRUPT.
We don't have a 'problem' with cigarette butts... We have machines and roadsweepers that are employed to clean them up... And they do a good job of it each and every day!!! When I've talked to them, they can't understand why there's patrols of opportunists in uniform pouncing on people... When there's murderers and rapists in government!!!!!
What we do have a problem with... Is politicians having corporate interests/affiliations with organisations that have a political influence on society and the banksters.
Councils need to grow some bollocks and target the government...
They also need to be innovative and 'move with the times'... Creating industries from new technology...
There's many ways to make money without oppressing your constituency!!! DO SOMETHING TO BRING THEM TOGETHER INSTEAD... LIKE AN EVENT!!!!!!!! WHICH WILL AID THE LOCAL ECONOMY, INADVERTENTLY CREATING A VOLUNTARY SECTOR THAT WOULD PROMOTE A POSITIVE SENSE OF COMMUNITY. WITH GOOD PEOPLE, YOU CREATE GOOD THINGS.
SHARE THIS SO THAT WE CAN ERADICATE THESE EVIL COMPANIES FROM OUR TOWNS/CITIES THAT ARE PREYING ON PEOPLE.
