- Mirror Mirror how can I gift myself?

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Do you remember this scene where the evil witch would ask the Magic Mirror on the wall that rhetoric question, anticipating and getting the reply that of course she was, well at least until Snow White showed up anyway?
While this is a well remembered scene in the time honoured movie classic Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, the metaphor of the mirror can be seen to have a deeper meaning for us all, of course only if we too choose to see, hear and accept the truth.
The truth is often difficult for us all to accept and embrace as it requires change, and change is not easy for anyone, especially when it represents pain. However, once we clearly understand the truth about ourselves through our relationship with our environment, we not only realise we're a product of our environment but that our environment is also a product of ourselves.
So as we change so will our environment. Of course Gandhi knew this when he said "become the change you want to see in the world".
It is all possible and things get easier, usually after they get worse for a bit, but like any muscle or habit, it becomes stronger with each repetition.
So the more we do good, are compassionate and gift out our service to all creatures great and small with our abundant love, our footprint on our environment becomes a positive one, giving rich fertiliser towards the growth of our humanity.
So perhaps from this day forward, see everything in your world as a mirror, a way to perceive yourself and learn how to give of yourself or gift your self.
Remember when you were created, you are the present and naturally gifted — not to keep these gifts but to share and gift them all away into your environment.
Gifting is also about letting go. If someone gets more than you because of you, thank yourself and say well done for the wonderful joy that you have created, for this is your purpose.
From looking into the many mirrors that surround you, whether they be people, creatures or events, that thing you do not like in another or outside of yourself, may very well be the key and area in which you are to master. So be truly grateful for this awareness.
