Parental Alienation affects mainly Fathers as the Law is biased in this direction, but a number of Mothers are also affected where the Father has plenty of money and influence. Quite why there need to be a Family Court to intervene in a separation matter as Court orders are not legally binding and purely act to ignite an already charged situation. A Conciliation process should be put in place which both parties must adhere to and penalties imposed on either parent equally if they do not act responsibly. Children may wish for contact time to age 11 but thereafter it should be more flexible so an appropriate parent can be with the child at times most suited such as football or school play, not a rigid weekend or alternative Wednesday.
