An admission from Mark.
I have always stood strong and proud for what I believe in, never backing down and always following through, so people see me as a very strong person, so did I.
During the last federal election I endured a few things that knocked me about just a little, maybe a little more than I had initially thought.
I was intimidated, harassed, arrested and had my possessions seized by the police, I am sure many may remember that, those events did frighten me, being imprisoned with out any reason, police wanting my DNA with out a valid reason, had me believing they were setting me up for a big fall.
I nearly had a break down and had to seek professional help to get though it, but I did, and I kept breathing so to speak.
Helen and I still suffer as a result, police now scare us to be honest, they are directed by people who think they are above the law and it rubs of on some of them.
Well today I was vindicated, the truth has come out, that the arrest, the seizure and the demands for my DNA were all invalid and wrong.
There was no basis for their actions, and those driving the attack on my innocence have now been named.
It is a sigh of relief to be honest, and i now have been advised by the Ombudsman to file a case for damages against the state.
Thanks you to all those who stood behind me during those events, I will run in this election, but for Makin, not Wakeflied, because of what happened, so many media articles painted me as a criminal, which cost me my hard earned good name.
The RSPCA have also been named in the full report, so trust me, they can answer for that in the courts.
I will and have always stood tall, and I will follow this through to ensure other candidates never endure what my family and I were put through, intimidation by the state is unacceptable.
