Dad's make noise over Family Court
Fathers' rights campaigners say they will continue to protest outside the homes of judges and lawyers despite condemnation from the Principal Family Court Judge.
A coalition of men's groups concerned about custody rights for fathers, has been picketing outside houses in several cities over the past two months.
Principal Family Court Judge Peter Boshier says the protest is irresponsible and undemocratic. He says the protests aim to intimidate judges and bear all the hallmarks of personal vendettas.
But the campaigners say years of protests outside Family Courts have got them nowhere and they have no choice but to up the ante.
The police say they will be keep a watch on the protests. But Waikato District Commander Superintendent Kelvin Powell says he is not aware of any evidence they have been acting unlawfully.
